15/11/2015 Peace, Hope and Solidarity![]() Many of the events occurring around the globe are difficult to witness - amongst them, the recent happenings in Paris. And yet, even as my heart aches for this beautiful city and her people, I am drawn to a very deep knowing. In this place of peace, this immovable tower of strength at the very core of my being I am reminded, that All is Well. We are witnessing the playing out of centuries old scripts and timelines that, one way or another, are leading to a resolution. A resolution that is greatly assisted by anyone who is able to uphold the vibrations of Peace, Hope and Solidarity. With this in mind I share the following extract from my book, Unlocking the Keys, directly transcribed from an email sent to friends and family. It was written the day after we fled Cairo amid the peak of the Egyptian Revolution in 2011. ![]() In addition, you’ll find a link below to a 3 minute toning and light language recording that came through this morning. It is offered to evoke the highest possible vibrations of Peace, Hope and Solidarity. As you listen I invite you to allow these energies to pour through you and from you. You may like to direct them somewhere like the Eiffel Tower, or perhaps to the beautiful fountain in this photo which sits peacefully beneath La Basilique Sacre Coeur – the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. As I nestle in our London hotel I feel a world away from the gunfire, tanks and mayhem we have left. Pondering the series of astonishing events leading to this haven of peace I find myself reflecting on a truly humbling experience. The lasting impression I will carry forward from Egypt is the beauty of the human spirit and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness that underlies our world. There is no doubt this is a time of major change and all across the globe people are experiencing turmoil. Whatever happens, one thing I am sure about is the need to reach out to each other. Whether you are fighting for your rights on the streets of Cairo or sheltering from the ravages of a storm, one thing is certain: you cannot do it alone. We are all in this world together and history has repeatedly shown us that in the face of adversity we must rally together. Adversity has shown me the greatest acts of generosity and kindness. It has shown me the very thing that makes us human. I believe this is the spirit that will carry us forward as we ride the wave of change sweeping our mighty planet. I may have left the shores of Egypt but my thoughts are still with her people. As they face uncertainty and adversity I pray the beauty of mankind will uplift them and in their toughest moments they too may witness great acts of kindness. May they know the greater power we access through an open heart and may this spirit carry them forward, touching the lives of all so valiantly striving for freedom in this most ancient of lands. Tomorrow we fly to Japan. It’s simply too much to think about now and so pulling the blankets around me I close my eyes. My ears search the silence for hints of danger and finding none, I slowly drift into a deep and restful sleep. It's always a balance to experience our humanness and the great compassion we feel for humanity with knowing that all is well and that all we can do is to continue to raise our own vibration and wrap our small world and big world in love. That's what I was trying to explain re: the Nepal earthquake but I had children crying and a different kind of chaos occurring under which conditions I couldn't articulate that. :-) And we go on knowing that as we work within Divine Order we all continue to evolve and grow. xx
