PRE- RETREAT: To maximise your retreat enjoyment, we encourage a stopover in your city of arrival before flying on to Krabi. We have considerable experience travelling in this part of the world so if you have questions about flights or stopovers we are happy to arrange a chat.
MEETING POINT: We begin in the town of Krabi - easily accessible by plane from Bangkok with several daily flights (we recommend Bangkok or Thai Airways). Options also available from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore flying with Air Asia. Please ensure you arrive in time to meet at 3.30pm on Day 1 (Sunday 31st May). We will have you back to the airport on Day 9 (Monday 8th June) by 1pm.
ACCOMMODATION: Price based on twin share. Single occupancy is an additional $795pp and subject to availability. Please enquire asap if interested in this option.
MOBILTY: Basic physical mobility is necessary as we will be walking to some degree every day, as well as getting on and off boats. If you have any reservations please get in touch to discuss.
WEATHER: Temperatures are likely to hover in the 25 - 30℃ range both day and night. A relatively comfortable temperature in this part of the world that lacks the harshness of NZ's sun. However, the humidity can take some getting used to - but it does bring the added bonus of a natural detox as sweating is guaranteed! We will be visiting at the beginning of the rainy season which has the great advantage of significantly less crowds and a considerably more relaxed vibe. It does however require us to be flexible to account for the odd thunder storm. These tend to be short lived but very welcoming as they temporarily alleviate humidity.
